DAY 1
We arrived in Prague in the early afternoon and caught a taxi to our Airbnb. We then decided to go to lunch at Café Louvre, which was quite delicious. Afterwards, we ventured to Old Town and Charles Bridge and up towards Prague Castle.

We stopped in at this Christmas store where I got another egg ornament, like the ornaments I got in Salzburg. We also tried the Trdelnik, which is like a hollow fried donut, but instead it is rolled and then put over hot coals and cooked. We suggest just getting a basic trdelnik, without any toppings or fillings. The ice cream isn’t very good and we basically took out the ice cream and ate it plain.
DAY 2
It was my dad’s birthday, so we let him pick what he wanted to do. We spent the entire day in the Jewish quarter going around to the different synagogues. I had forgotten my student ID card, so we were bad and said I was 15 and we still got the discount. The Spanish synagogue was by far the most elaborate, and in my opinion the prettiest.

The Pinkas Synagogue was the most touching, with names of 70,000 Jewish people that had died during the Holocaust. Attached to the building was a cemetery where they buried Jewish people, some had 10 bodies atop each other.

We ate lunch and then continued to the last two stops. The day before we had passed a jazz club, and my dad wanted to see a show there for his birthday. We went to the Three Roses restaurant/ pub where we got Caesar salad and this huge pork knee. It was very good, I definitely suggest going there. We then went to the jazz club at 9 and stayed for about an hour.
DAY 3
We decided to go on a free walking tour at 10am which started in the Old Square. After an hour we bailed because we had already seen the Jewish Quarter, and that is where they were headed next. I had seen a lookout on a hill that I wanted to go to. We started up the hill and wandered around the park.

We didn’t really know how to get out of the park going towards the Dancing House. We wandered into the royal garden and then saw the cathedral. We then wandered down to go to the John Lennon wall, but we stopped for spiraled fried potatoes and a smoothie on the way.

We then walked to the John Lennon wall, took pictures and then headed to the Dancing House. We didn’t quite make it to the Dancing House, because we were exhausted.

Every day in Prague had been extremely hot. Our tour guide earlier that day said the weather was more like August weather. For dinner we went to Zebra Noodle Bar (Asian).
The next morning, I got up at the crack of dawn, 3:45am, to go take pictures at the Charles Bridge.

We then headed out to Amsterdam, our last leg of our trip.
